ACPC Autumn Board Meeting 2022

Location: Savannah, GA

Dates: October 7 - 9, 2022

Dear Board Members,

We need an early estimated count for how many will be attending the Board Meeting in Savannah. Please note that our hosts in Savannah appear to have an overwhelming interest in how many want to attend the Pulaski Memorial Dinner on Saturday night, so we need to tell Ed Krolikowski the number, because he is giving our organization first priority.

For details of the planned ceremony and dinner (ticket info) see:

The Polish and Hungarian Ambassadors are invited to attend this event.

While I understand that you may not be able to commit, can you at least express your interest in attending? Let me know as soon as possible.

Hotel Arrangements

We are pleased to announce that we have made arrangements with the Aloft Hotel in the Downtown Savannah Historic District, 512 West Oglethorpe Avenue, Savannah GA 31401. The room rate is $239 per room per night, not including taxes.

Saturday; Oct. 8, 8:30-3:00 pm - Business meeting
Saturday; Oct. 8, 5:30 pm - Pulaski Dinner off-site
Sunday; Oct. 9, 7:00 am - commemoration Ceremony at Battlefield

President Glembocki will issue agenda prior to the meeting. If you have special presentation needs please let us know. I hope to see many of you in Savannah.

Hotel Option

If anyone wants to stay at a less expensive hotel, the Days Inn in Richmond Hill is available for about $50 per night. It is some distance away from where we will be meeting and would add a little more carbon to your footprint, but I want to offer it as an option if you find the Aloft unaffordable. I am hoping that there will still be people to take 12 rooms at the Aloft so that we can avoid financial penalties associated with the negotiated room rate.
