Dear ACPC Members and Friends:
As we look forward to this year’s ACPC Convention, I am truly excited about visiting Buffalo, a city with many attractions and the fourth largest Polonia in the U.S. Our host, the Polish Arts Club of Buffalo (PACB) is celebrating its 80th Anniversary this year and is taking this opportunity to show off what makes it such an important part of Polish cultural life in America.
The Club was instrumental in establishing the ACPC just three years after its own founding and its then President, Eugeniusz M. Dyczkowski, became the first one of the national organization. The current PACB President, Robert Fronckowiak and his Convention Committee are working hard to make sure that all will go smoothly and your visit will be one to remember for a long time. The theme of this year’s Convention is “Art and Architecture” and in Buffalo, we can immerse ourselves in the highest class of both as we tour the city’s museums and walk on its streets.
It can’t be repeated too often how important it is for all of our affiliates and supporting organizations to participate in the annual Convention. As I look through websites, social media pages and newsletters of our member organizations and in personal conversations, I am proud to note that each one of them has so much to contribute to our common mission of keeping the Polish culture alive throughout our vast country. Let’s get together and join in celebrating our past achievements and planning our future. I look forward to seeing many of you in Buffalo.
